Cross-Border Payment Flow
Cross-border payment lets Chinese consumers buy from US merchants online or in-store. Because the currencies differ, settlement tools and payment systems convert funds between the two countries to complete each transaction.
Step 1
Your customers shop across borders without exchanging currency. They simply pay with Alipay, WeChat Pay, or an RMB digital wallet, and the system automatically settles with the merchant at the day's bank exchange rate.
Step 2
Once the customer pays, the system automatically transfers the RMB to HantePay's US custodian bank at the day's bank exchange rate, and HantePay converts it to US dollars.
Step 3
The transaction is complete, and HantePay deposits the US dollars into the merchant's USD account.
