Frequently asked questions

How does a US business apply? Do I need a Chinese bank account?

You apply online with your US business licence / EIN, a US bank account for settlement and owner ID. No Chinese entity and no Chinese bank account are required.

Which industries are supported?

Restaurants, retail and supermarkets, auto dealers, education, travel, daigou and e-commerce are all common. Some industries may need extra documentation during review — we tell you upfront.

What are the fees, and who sets the exchange rate?

WeChat Pay / Alipay run at a standard 2.5% (1.95% above $20K annual volume) with no monthly fee. Currency conversion happens at the transaction-time rate through licensed financial-institution partners, itemised per transaction.

How fast do I get paid? Is there a settlement minimum?

Cross-border payments generally settle T+2 business days and US card payments T+1, in USD to your US bank account. Settlement runs automatically once your balance reaches $100; below $100, support can settle manually. See the Trust Center.

Can I take WeChat Pay, Alipay and credit cards together?

Yes — one account accepts WeChat Pay, Alipay, UnionPay and Visa / Mastercard, with one reconciliation.

Do you support websites, WooCommerce and POS?

Yes. QR codes and smart terminals in-store, WooCommerce / WHMCS plugins and an API online, and payment links for remote customers.
