Legal entity

Hante Corp. (DBA HantePay) — "HantePay" is the trade name (DBA) of Hante Corp., a US company serving US merchants since 2016 with cross-border and omnichannel payment technology.

Our role: technology provider, not a money holder

HantePay provides payment technology services. Clearing, currency conversion and settlement of funds are performed by licensed financial-institution partners.

Specifically, HantePay is not a money services business, money transmitter, bank or custodian, and does not hold, receive, transmit or settle customer funds. All clearing, custody, settlement and disbursement of funds are provided solely by HantePay's licensed financial-institution partners ("Settlement Partners") under their own agreements and compliance obligations. See the Terms & Conditions for the full statement.

How a payment moves

  1. Customer pays — in RMB with WeChat Pay, Alipay or UnionPay (QR code, POS terminal or online).
  2. Collection & FX — licensed Settlement Partners collect the RMB, convert at the transaction-time rate and clear the cross-border transaction.
  3. USD settlement — the USD equivalent settles into your own US bank account. Cross-border payments generally settle in USD T+2 business days; US card payments T+1 — subject to the applicable settlement partner's rules.
  4. What HantePay does — the QR codes, terminals, plugins and API, reconciliation tools, and onboarding & support.

Settlement timing & pricing

Timing is subject to the applicable Settlement Partner's rules; chargebacks, refunds, disputes, holds and reserves apply per the relevant network rules.

Refunds & disputes

Merchants can initiate refunds on processed payments; for cross-currency refunds the exchange rate applied (refund-time or charge-time) follows the relevant network's rules. When a customer disputes a charge, we help you submit evidence through the applicable network's process. Product and service issues (delivery, returns) remain the merchant's responsibility.

Data & privacy

How we collect and use data is described in the Privacy Policy. SMS notifications are strictly opt-in: the consent checkbox is never pre-checked or required, and consent records (date, page, wording) are retained.
